Welcome to St Josephine Bakhita Catholic Primary School

St Josephine Bakhita Catholic Primary School is a new school in the Five Farms estate in Clyde North. The school is named after St Josephine Bakhita who is the first contemporary female African Saint. The school, as part of St Thomas the Apostle Parish, Clyde North, serves to provide access to Catholic education for families in the eastern area of the Parish. The school opened its doors at the beginning of the 2025 school year with an initial enrolment of 114 students. The anticipated enrolment is 700 students, with around 100 Foundation students being enrolled each year until we reach our capacity.

At St Josephine Bakhita Catholic Primary School, we stand united in our commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for every child. We are dedicated to ensuring that all children, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, can thrive and reach their full potential in a supportive and respectful community.

The St Josephine Bakhita Catholic Primary school community acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia's First People and Traditional Custodians of the land. We acknowledge that our school community is built on the traditional land of the Bunurong peoples which were never ceded. We pay our respects to the Elders, past, present and emerging and their rich, ongoing culture. As we journey together, we remain committed to working for reconciliation to ensure a positive future for Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples.

Where are we?
