2026 Foundation and Year 1 Teachers

St Josephine Bakhita Catholic Primary School is seeking dynamic and dedicated Foundation and Year 1 Classroom Teachers to join its amazing team of this exciting new school. 

The successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. They will;

  • hold a current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
  • demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children
  • develop and maintain professional and caring relationships
  • engage students in learning and facilitate best educational practice
  • demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of the Catholic church and school
  • display strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • effectively work as part of a professional educative team
  • demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the progression of learning in all curriculum areas, including Religious Education
  • differentiate learning according to student needs
  • actively involve themselves in personal learning
  • hold an accreditation or be willing to engage in accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school.

Graduates teachers are welcome to apply.

All positions are classified under the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022.
